If you are sitting at home in front of the TV on a Monday night, trying to think of something to do, we have done the thinking for you. Head down to North Penn Volunteer Fire Company on Main Street in North Wales around 7pm. The members of North Penn have drill every Monday night at 7. Come down to meet the members, find out what they do for the community, and if you are interested, find out how you can become a member.
If you came out this past Drill, you would have seen two trainings going on. You could have seen Lt. Mark Donohue teaching how to use low pressure air bags as well as ropes. Two very important groups of rescue equipment that we carry on Squad 62 and Ladder 62. At the same time you could have seen Capt. Matthew Traynor teaching how to use hydraulic rescue tools. Another group of rescue equipment that we carry on Squad 62 and Air 62.
So if you are trying to find something to do on a Monday night, head down to Station 62 to see more drills and find out how you can be a part of the membership if you are interested.
