This past Friday a call came in for flames from the side of a residence in North Wales. The initial dispatched called for Station 62, Squad 80, Ladder 18 and Squad 14 as well as QRS 62 and an ambulance from 345. Deputy Chief 62 arrived on scene with a working fire and went into 62 Command. Crews went into service with inch and three quarter lines and began an interior attack on the fire. 62 Command monitored the progression of the fire and pulled the crews out to switch to a defensive attack. The fire was knocked down and operations went back into interior operations to hit hot spots and to perform salvage and overhaul. There was no reported injuries.
