North Penn's Quick Response Services is a 100% volunteer Emergency Medical Service, staffed by Emergency Medical Technicians, First Responders, Firefighters and members with First/Aid CPR with AED for the emergency responder. The goal of the QRS is to respond on medical 911 calls and arrive before the ambulance to begin patient care until they arrive. The QRS is managed by QRS Captain and EMT Mark Donohue Jr. Mark is also Lieutenant of Fire Services. He is assisted by a QRS Steering Committee, to be announced at a later date. At night the QRS is staffed Sunday to Friday with steady crews and on Saturdays with a six week rotating crew.
